Why do companies usually ask for a deposit?
Car rental companies typically ask for a large credit card hold or cash deposit as security against possible damage or traffic fines; that amount can stay blocked on your account for days.
Why doesn't Duru Rent a Car ask for a deposit?
Because every car includes comprehensive insurance and third-party cover, we don't ask for an extra deposit or credit card hold. When you collect the car, you pay only the rental price stated in the quote.
What happens if there's damage?
A handover report with photos is prepared and a copy sent to you. Anything outside coverage (tyres, glass, undercarriage) is set out separately in the contract; see our insurance and coverage guide for details.
