Rental Agreement and Terms

1. Parties
These terms apply to the car rental relationship between Alican Arslan Nakliyat ve Tic. Ltd., trading as "Duru Rent a Car" ("Lessor"; Tax No: 16045, Lefkoşa Tax Office; registered address: Gönyeli Mah. Tatlısu Sok. No: 18, Gönyeli, Lefkoşa, TRNC; service office: Ecevit Cd. No: 18/A, Yukarı Girne, Girne, TRNC), and the person renting the car ("Renter"). Confirmation of the reservation request via WhatsApp and collection of the vehicle constitute acceptance of the terms below; the actual rental agreement is signed separately at handover.
2. Licence and Age Requirement
The Renter must hold a valid driving licence for at least 1 year; an international licence is not required. The minimum driver age is 23. A second driver may be added to the agreement free of charge on request.
3. Pricing and Payment
The rental price is calculated using the rate for a one-day, two-day or three-or-more-day rental of the selected vehicle. Every 24 hours counts as one rental day. No deposit, credit card hold or cash deposit is required. The rental price is paid when the vehicle is collected.
4. Insurance Coverage
Every vehicle includes mandatory third-party insurance and comprehensive cover. Optional protection is available for tyre, glass and undercarriage damage; its scope and any excess amounts are set out separately in the agreement signed at handover.
5. Delivery and Return
We deliver and collect vehicles free of charge at the specified location in Ercan Airport, Girne, Lefkoşa, Gazimağusa and İskele. You may return the vehicle at a different location within our service area. If you share your flight number in advance, there is no additional charge for waiting during a flight delay.
6. Fuel Policy
The vehicle is supplied with a full tank and should be returned full. If it is returned with less fuel, we charge only for the missing fuel at the current pump price, with no additional service fee.
7. Mileage and Use
No mileage limit applies to rentals. The vehicle must be used in accordance with traffic rules and applicable law, and not for purposes such as commercial passenger/goods transport or racing. The Renter is responsible for any damage and penalties arising from use contrary to the agreement or the law.
8. Child Seat
A child seat is provided free of charge on request.
9. Vehicle Class and Availability
We guarantee the vehicle class shown on the Site. Depending on availability, the specific model may be replaced with an equivalent vehicle in the same class.
10. Cancellation and Changes
Cancellation and date-change requests made at least 48 hours before the planned delivery time are free of charge.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent TRNC courts.
12. Effect
These terms are published by Alican Arslan Nakliyat ve Tic. Ltd. (Tax No: 16045, Lefkoşa Tax Office) under the trade name "Duru Rent a Car"; the version published on the Site at the time of each reservation applies.
