1. Scope and Data Controller

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information about visitors to dururental.com (the "Site") and users who submit a reservation request is collected, used and protected. The Site is operated by Alican Arslan Nakliyat ve Tic. Ltd., trading as "Duru Rent a Car" (Tax No: 16045, Lefkoşa Tax Office; registered address: Gönyeli Mah. Tatlısu Sok. No: 18, Gönyeli, Lefkoşa, TRNC; service office: Ecevit Cd. No: 18/A, Yukarı Girne, Girne, TRNC).

2. What Information We Collect

The Site has no membership or registration system; no customer database is kept server-side. The following information is processed:

• Reservation request information: pick-up and return points, dates and times, vehicle preference and delivery address (if provided). When you press "Check availability" or "Reserve this car", this information is automatically converted into a WhatsApp message and sent directly to us through WhatsApp; at this stage, the Site does not store the information on its own server.
• Usage/analytics data: via Google Analytics 4, with the IP address anonymised, page views and interactions (such as WhatsApp clicks, phone clicks, selected vehicle and rental length) are collected.

3. Cookies

The Site itself does not use login or authentication cookies. Google Analytics may place a cookie in your browser to measure usage statistics. You can block these cookies through your browser settings.

4. Purpose of Use

The information collected is used only to evaluate your reservation requests, to contact you, to measure site performance and to improve service quality. Your information is not sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Sharing of Information

Your information is shared only with the following service providers, limited to the stated purposes: WhatsApp/Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (messaging infrastructure) and Google LLC (Google Analytics). Each provider's own privacy policy applies.

6. Retention Period

Since the Site does not keep a separate customer database, information relating to your reservation request is retained only in your WhatsApp conversation history. Analytics data is retained under Google's standard retention periods.
